Today, after being given explicit approval to move forward with pre-orders, we were informed by KONAMI that the pre-orders that we’ve processed for “Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater [Collector’s Edition]” will have to be canceled.
We will continue to work with distributors and other retailers to acquire any pre-orders for the collector’s edition if you wish to keep your pre-order with us.
We’re unaware of the reason behind this decision other than this will most likely be a mass-market exclusive.
We sincerely apologize for any frustration this has caused you, and we’re available to answer any questions concerning the situation to the best of our ability. As the situation stands presently, we’ll still be able to process pre-orders for the standard edition.
