Four Decades of Hyrule

Since the original Legend of Zelda first invited players into Hyrule in 1986, the series has grown into one of Nintendo’s most celebrated franchises.

A Legendary Adventure Reborn

As part of the anniversary celebration, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time returns in a version rebuilt from the ground up for Nintendo Switch 2.

Link’s journey through Hyrule is reimagined with overhauled visuals, voiced cutscenes, expanded dialogue, symphonic orchestral music, updated movement, modernized camera controls, and other enhancements designed to introduce the Hero of Time’s adventure to a new generation.

New Young Link and Young Zelda amiibo also celebrate the characters as they appear in Ocarina of Time, with special in-game functionality when used with the Nintendo Switch 2 release.

Anniversary Hardware and Accessories

Nintendo is also commemorating the anniversary with specially designed Nintendo Switch 2 hardware and accessories featuring artwork and decorative elements inspired by the Legend of Zelda series.

The collection includes anniversary Nintendo Switch 2 hardware, a matching Pro Controller, carrying case, and other products designed for fans who want to bring a piece of Hyrule into their collection.
