If you’re a Legend of Zelda fan, you already know the drill. Nintendo can drop a new adventure, remake, or collectible when you least expect it, and suddenly your wallet is in danger. Much like Mario, Zelda can jump between 2D and 3D adventures, but right now, we’re still firmly in the Breath of the Wild era.
Whether that era eventually becomes a trilogy after Tears of the Kingdom remains a mystery. For now, though, fans have plenty to keep an eye on, especially with the upcoming Ocarina of Time remake for Switch 2.
And now, Nintendo has revealed that another Zelda release is heading our way sooner than expected.
Mineru Is Joining the Amiibo Collection
On September 17, 2026, Nintendo will officially release the Mineru’s Construct amiibo, adding another figure to the Tears of the Kingdom amiibo lineup.
So far, the collection has featured Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf, who arrived in 2023, followed by Riju, Sidon, Yunobo, and Tulin in 2025. Now it’s Mineru’s turn to join the shelf.
For Zelda collectors, this one is especially interesting because it isn’t just another amiibo that looks cool next to your game collection. Nintendo has packed it with a few features that make it stand out.
According to Nintendo, Mineru is King Rauru’s elder sister and fought alongside him against the Demon King as the Sage of Spirit long ago. In the present day, she helps Link through her Zonai construct.
And here’s the really cool part: the figure has articulated arms that you can move and pose.
That’s not something you see every day with an amiibo, making Mineru’s Construct a particularly fun pickup for collectors who like their figures to have a little more personality.
One Amiibo, Multiple Zelda Games
The Mineru’s Construct amiibo isn’t locked to Tears of the Kingdom, either. It can be used with three different games:
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
- Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment
In Tears of the Kingdom, the amiibo can potentially unlock a special fabric for Link’s paraglider, along with random items.
The other games also offer rewards, although it’s worth keeping expectations in check. In Breath of the Wild, for example, amiibo rewards can be fairly modest, often giving you random ingredients or other items that you could find while exploring Hyrule normally.
So if you’re buying this purely for powerful in-game loot, this probably isn’t going to completely change your adventure.
For collectors, however, that’s not really the point.

Mineru Gets Her Spotlight
Mineru is also a major character in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, where she is fully playable.
That game gives players a much closer look at what Mineru and her constructs can really do. It also provides a deeper look into Zonai society, an area that Tears of the Kingdom only had so much time to explore.
That makes the new amiibo feel more relevant than your average collectible. Mineru isn’t simply another character getting a figure. She’s a major part of the story surrounding this era of Zelda, and Age of Imprisonment gives fans even more reason to be interested in her.
A Must-Have for Zelda Collectors?
A lot of gamers have moved on from amiibo collecting over the years, and that’s understandable. The figures aren’t nearly as essential to the gaming experience as they once were.
Still, Mineru’s Construct is one of the more interesting amiibo releases we’ve seen in a while.
The articulated arms are a fantastic touch, the figure connects to multiple Zelda games, and Mineru herself has become an increasingly important character in the series’ current story.
For hardcore Zelda collectors, this is an easy figure to have on the radar. Even if you’ve retired from the amiibo hunt, Mineru’s Construct might be enough to tempt you back into the collection.
With a September 17, 2026 release date, Zelda fans won’t have to wait much longer to add this unique piece of the Tears of the Kingdom era to their shelves.
